Chattahoochee VBS 2012

Jackson's little friend Tyler invited him to VBS last week.  Monday we couldn't go because we went to Six Flags.  Jackson went Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Stephen asked to go on Wednesday and Thursday.  On Thursday they had a hot air balloon ride for everyone.  The boys LOVED it!!!  They didn't go way up high, but it was still something they have never done before!!

Stephen is very shy and for 2 days he would try really hard to ask to hold the bible.  He was to quiet each time so of course they never heard him!

He finally went up to Mrs. Terry and asked her right when we got to Church. 

He was so proud and couldn't wait to go to the kitchen and tell nana and papa!!

Favorites from VBS 2012

Here are a few favorites from VBS 2012.  I will post the others on Facebook.

Jackson had his last year in the 8-9 yr old class.  It blows my mind that hes almost 10.  I of course got NO pictures really of him.  Its hard cause I was always busy with my class.

Jesus loves me

Stephen LOVES to sing.  He put all the Lego tunnels together and used it as a microphone and walked through the house singing Jesus loves me!!  It really is sweet to hear!  At Sunday School Ruthie always sings with the kids and they get to pick out their song.  Stephen always chooses Jesus Loves Me.  When the other children sing their songs he never sings along.  The last Sunday Ruthie sang Hes still working on me.  Later that day we were in the QT bathroom.  He started singing Hes still working on me as loud as he could!!!  

I love the fact that my kids are growing up to know who loves them and who is constantly working on them.  I just know God has a special plan for both of them.

On Tuesday my mother in law, Pam, and I started a bible study at Woodlawn Baptist.  Its a Beth Moore bible study and it is called Measureless Love.  I LOVED it.  I am so thankful for all of God's Love he shows me and my family.  I can't wait to learn more!  Beth Moore does an incredible job on bible study's.  

Bible Study and Women of Faith

Today was the last day of our bible study. It was bitter sweet. It seems like yesterday I started the journey............a journey that changed my life. A change for the good. I always thought I am a pretty decent person, I am not that bad of a sinner! HA!! I learned about the bible study through Barts cousin Staci. It has been such a blessing to me!! I am going to miss it something terrible.

Someone today mentioned Women of Faith. There will be a conference September 24-25 in Atlanta! I wanted more information, but had to leave right after bible Study so I did not get to talk to anyone about it. After I got home I went to yahoo and all I could remember was women something???? So I typed in women and the very 1st thing to pop up was Women of Faith. Its like a sign that I need to go to it. You can view the info here. I think it is going to be pretty AWESOME!!! I want to go so badly and I pray I will get to go.

Today I am thankful for

BIBLE STUDY!!!!!!!!

I started a new bible study at the Torch in Cornelia!! Today was my second time and let me just tell you..........it is AWESOME!!!!! Just in 2 sessions I have already learned alot. I wanted to list a few reasons why I am thankful for the Bible Study. Me sharing might get some others interested in signing up for one.

I am thankful because:


I get to learn about GOD's precious word
I get to have some girl/me time
Stephen stays in the nursery so he gets to be around kids
I get to be around Bart's precious cousin Staci
I am meeting new ladies
I saw a girl I graduated with and hope to keep in touch
People are praying for me
I get to pray for others
I am BREAKING FREE!!!!
the study will help me be a better person
I am growing with GOD
I am constantly reminded of GODs love and the gift of salvation.


The bible study is by Beth Moore. I had never heard of Beth Moore till last Tuesday. God is so good to me and I know it is his will for me to be there. I am enjoying learning about the bible. May GOD bless you!!
