5th birthday was a sports party at Church.  Pictures are all scrapbooked.

6th birthday Halloween dress up party!

7th birthday  GA Bulldog party (he is now a tech fan!!)

8th birthday.  Got a race car and had a small family party!

His 9th Birthday.  Texas Road house then cake at home.  Went racing the following weekend for his party.

It has been an incredible 10 years.  I seriously can't get over the fact that I now have a 10 year old!!  He talked us into letting him open his presents the night before his Birthday!!  We are having a party on Saturday!!

It's Ok

It's OKAY.......................

that I am know where near being done for Christmas shopping.

to cuddle with your kids in the morning and then have to rush out the door.

that Jackson took a yoo-hoo to school.

that it's October 4th and I haven't got my fall decor completely out.

to let the kids listen to country in the mornings sometimes.

that I got my husband a biscuit this morning and not me.

that I am breaking the diet a little today to eat Chinese with my mom!

to stay up really late looking on craigslist for a Tahoe.

I am blogging right now and not vacumming or decorating for fall.

My Thoughts on this lovely Thursday

Not much in my head today but........

I thought my children didn't like each other till I woke up and saw them laying this way.
Then when they woke up and Jackson didn't know how he got there or who moved the foot stool there then I really thought they were crazy.  Well maybe just Jackson since Stephen was exactly where he was before I went to bed.  

I thought I was okay about sending these 2 boys to school.  Well I had no choice in Matt since you know he's not mine. Stephen's another story.  I thought I was okay sending him.  Then 4 deer ran out in front of me this morning and I got excited and jerked around to the back seat all excited and said "did ya see them"  Then I realized the only person in the car other than me was Grace and she's only 7 months old, she is backwards in her car seat, she is asleep and she probably doesn't even know what deer are.  Then I was sad.  I have no more of my babies home and it took 4 stupid deer to realize that he is a school kid now.  I mean hello we live in the boone docks country and we see deer ALL the time.  Like in our garden or real close up in our yard.  But we still get excited to see them!



I thought I would get to go look at a Tahoe I found, but Bart doesn't like black cars so back to Craigslist I go.

I am really behind on Jackson's party planning.  I thought I would have his invitations ordered, addressed and ready to hand out, but I'm not.

I thought Stephen and Savannah's Turkey shirt turned out really cute.  Now I am thinking I want to buy an embroidery machine.

I thought all these books would fall on Stephen during the night, but they didn't.  

Turkey Shirt

I made this little turkey shirt for my friend Tammy's little girl Savannah.  I really like how it turned out.  I think I could have used a different stitching for the feathers and the bottom of the turkey body looks a little off. 

I made one for Stephen and thought I took a picture of it, but I must have forgotten.  They both are in the dryer right now so I will post it later.

Up close of the face and of course it has to have a bow.  duh!

I have washing it doesn't alter it to much.  I washed them on gentle so we will see!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Today I am loving the smiling faces of my boys!  They are smiling because I made them peanut butter milkshakes!
I am loving Mountain Fresh Creamery in Clermont.  Thats the ONLY milk Stephen can drink.
I am loving that he LOVES the milk.  He takes it to school each morning and on Monday he told his whole table he had special milk.
I am LOVING he can finally have milk since its his favorite drink!!

I am loving Jackson's personality!  He can always make you smile!(even when you should totally get on to him)  He is just hilarious!!
I am loving that I we have been at home the past 2 nights.  It flooded the football practice fields so we have been home!
I am loving he doesn't have homework all week.  Testing so they don't have any!!!
I am loving he gets up every morning to tell me X amount of days till his bday!

I am loving are night time rituals.  

Jackson watches TV while I read Stephen books.  Stephen doesn't watch much tv and doesn't have a tv in his room.  Jackson gets a few minutes while I read to Stephen.  I did the same for Jackson, but now with football he likes his down TV time before prayers and bed!  Stephen started with one book, then wanted 2 and its slowly became 5!!  I love it though.  Most of the books pictured above are Jackson's from when he was little.  The only one that isn't is HOGWASH!  Its a new book.  I am LOVING it.  Its by our favorite children's book author Karma Wilson.
I am LOVING The Prayer of Jabez book.  The discussions we have after reading it might have to be a post all on its on!!   I am LOVING how Stephen displays them after reading them, then has to count them!

I am LOVING Stephen's night light.  My mom gave it to him for Christmas.  After reading books we have to turn on the light.  After we turn on the light we go to Jackson's room to say prayers.  I am LOVING that both my boys want to pray and pray with such a loving heart to the lord.  After prayers I love that we go back to Stephens room say good night to his fish and he gets in bed by himself.  I am LOVING that he falls asleep by himself and in his bed.  He might come out a few times before he falls asleep and he might come to our bed during the night, but I am LOVING that he starts the night off by himself in his bed!  

I LOVE the fact that Jackson likes to sleep backwards.  I really have no idea why, but when I walk past his room or cover him up or give that one last kiss before I go to bed I have to stop and smile and usually say he's crazy!  I love it!

God is good!!

This Weekend

This weekend we went out the Varsity Game.  It was Youth night and the rec department football and cheerleaders got to go in Free.

Jackson's dad picked him up at 5 and I headed there after Grace left.

I LOVED watching Jackson's team run out there!  They think they are pretty cool!!

This home game was against EAST HALL.  They beat the snot out of them.  Thats how they are suppose to do it right!! Just kidding!

Of Course we had to sit with Matt!  I pay $7 dollars for Stephen to play and not watch the game.  BUT its about making memories not spending money, right?!?!?!?

I have always LOVED run threw banners.

This weekend I also got to watch Jackson play!

Sitting down and eyeing the competition.  We played the other White County 9U team.  You know his buddies from school.  It was a good game.  19-0!!!

With a 19-0 win I would have to say the defense does pretty good not letting the other team score!!

We have good sportsmanship on our team.  When the team mates do something good they get all excited!

This weekend we went to Cheddars.  I LOVE eating there because I can eat healthy and still LOVE what I eat.  I always get the Cajun Catfish and broccoli.

This weekend we went to Sams.  Stephen played with a karaoke machine and would say Juli Skelton please come to the front!  He's so cute!!

This weekend we had our annual church picnic  Sunday morning we headed over to Unicoi and had singing, youth choir and preaching.  It was AMAZING!!

Stephen attended his 1st football match with the church boys or men?!?!?!?!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the smiles from David and Holden!  I know they truly love Stephen!!!

This weekend Jackson was with his dad, but when he came home we ordered pizza and ate with Pam and Farrell.  They came to pick up Grace's swing and play mat.  She is on to bigger and better toys!!  Looks a little less like Babies r US in here now!

Thursday

I found these 2 neat new blogs and thought I would link up!

Its okay I have about 2700 pictures on my sim card and I am to lazy to delete them even though they are all saved on my computer.  I have thought about deleting some, but I haven't.

Its okay I took a picture of myself!  I did it right before I had a girls day with my BFF Tammy!  

Its Okay our team is sporting pink socks for Breast Cancer Awareness month in September.  Its super cute to see boys wearing pink anyways!!!  I THOUGHT whole team did an amazing job Saturday.  I thought that might have been Jackson's BEST game ever!!  He got 7 stars!!!  The most out of any of them!!  He recovered a fumble and ran the ball and got a 1st down!!  Yeah kinda proud!!

I Thought we all looked amazing before church until I looked at myself on the computer!  Its OKAY that I try my hardest to match my boys!!   

Its OKAY Stephen likes to play Yard Sale.  I mean I must have taught him something!!

Its OKAY  I stayed up late finishing Stephens shirt so he could wear it today.

Its also OKAY that I should have totally brushed his teeth before putting on said shirt and letting his wipe his mouth off with it.  I can use some spray and wash and he can wear it next week!!

I had THOUGHT about changing my blog picture and writing something different since it says 2 boys and a mom.  I do have a husband, but most of our blog is about the boys?  Need something catchy!!
