Fall Harvest @ Church

Wednesday night was our Fall Harvest get together at church. We had a great time! Jackson was more interested in playing football with the big kids than anything else. He loves those kids and since they are pretty darn good boys I guess I don't mind him hanging out with them. Stephen outside at my moms!! I LOVE Micky Mouse and I found it like 75% off so I got it for 7.99!! It keeps him very warm!!

Jackson is Bible Man. I did not buy him a costume this year. I told him I would make him what ever Disney costume he wanted, but he settled on his Bible Man attire. He is going trick or treating with Rodney so he has a costume there.

Stephen LOVED this scarecrow!

Look at that pretty smile of his!!! He decided to not wear his costume because it took to long to put on and take off in between playing football.

Cameron is such a sweet boy!!! And a cute little cowboy!!
Saturday we are heading down to dads house, but I am not sure if we will do any trick or treating. Lord knows we don't need the candy at my house!!! If you are going out trick or treating be safe and have fun!!!

Jackson really enjoyed opening presents!!

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped me and who was able to make it. It was cold, but we had a good time!

Jacksons 7th Birthday!

Sunday October 18, 2009 my sweet little boy turned 7. Seriously?? Okay someone please tell me where the time has gone. It is just crazy. We had the grandparents over Sunday night for Jackson's "Official Bday" I love to celebrate his day with just family on his actual birthday. I asked him what he wanted for supper and thought he would want something simple like spaghetti or lasagna, but he wanted breakfast and more importantly he wanted "MY" famous sausage muffins that he loves. Okay so they are not "MY" famous sausage muffins they are my aunt Susie's famous sausage muffins, but he does not have to know that. I make them and that is all that matters. Right?!?! So when everyone showed up he opened presents from us. Bart and I got him a new set of golf clubs and this little remote go cart thingy. Stephen got him the movie Monsters vs Aliens and some new sidewalk chalk. It was a great day and I am so happy I have had him 7 years. He is a great son and God has blessed me beyond belief! Jackson where are you?????

Stephen says, "hey bubba can I use this thing to hit the TV???"

Just sitting down to eat breakfast at 7:00pm

Making a birthday wish!!!

He is out for the night. This little boy was so tuckered out that night.
He is such a joy and I am so thankful for him. He brings laughter in my life, love in my life and more than anything he makes me want to be a better person. He is a reason to wake up in the morning, he is a reason to smile everyday(okay like every minute), he is a reason to stay positive and he is a reason I am the person I am today. Without him life would not be the same. Without him life would be boring and without my Jackson I would not be the Christian mother I am. He is a reason I keep a close walk with GOD.

3 almost 4 and LOVED playing in the dirt!!!

4 years old

Tomorrow will be Jackson's 7th birthday. Oh My Goodness........ Where has the time gone??? Seems like yesterday I was excepting him and today he is almost as tall as me. It was a Monday afternoon when I went to the dr for my regular weekly check up. I think I even had an ultrasound. I was measuring big and they wanted to induce. I wanted to wait till Friday because Dr. Reinhardt was the doc on call. They told me to go in on Thursday to get things started. I worked Thursday and around 1 or 2 I just did not feel good so I called the nurse and she said go ahead and get there. I remember meeting my mom and Tiff in Gainesville to get my camera battery and heading to NEGMC. Dad, JoAnna, Pamela, Mary Grace and Kahlab visited me that night. It was a nice evening. Friday morning is when things really got started and the contractions got worse around 6 am. I don't really remember much about the day because I was so tired. I remember them breaking my water and I remember Dr. Reinhardt coming in to apologize because he had to leave on a family emergency and I remember meeting Dr. Conor and thinking man he talks really loud. I wont bore ya'll with the rest. The main thing is I delivered a healthy sweet baby boy at 7:37pm by CSection. He weight 9lbs 7 oz and was just so precious. I don't have any baby pictures on my computer, but here are a few from the past 2 years.

Jameour

We visited Jameours this year for our annual pumpking picking trip. I am sad that we are not going to Burts, but there are only so many hours in the day so we settled on Jameours. I know I am spelling that wrong, but oh well you get the idea! The kids had a blast and were able to do a few things before we left. Jackson just 1 week shy of 7 years old! :(

Stephen enjoyed this little area and liked climbing on all the pumpkins.

The boys got to do this awesome slide!!!

Stephen came down a little to fast and I wish I could have captured the look on his face!!

The apple sling shot. SO COOL!!

Camping with the boys!

Jackson loves to camp out in the living room on non school nights. Since this was an extra long weekend we decided to let him camp. He insisted that Stephen and I lay with him. Saturday night Bart and I were both in the living room till about 12am. We got up, covered the boys up and went to sleep. I woke about 4:30 to check on them and cover them back up. The bottom picture is how I found them. Stephen all spread out with his foot on top of Jackson. The 1st picture was taken about 6am. Stephen actually slept all night that night. Friday night and Sunday night was a different story. We had a great weekend and a fun Monday with the Blocker boys! Hope everyone has a great week!!!

We are new pet owners!!!

Pam and Farrell found this cute little baby turtle while cutting grass. They saved it for Jackson and Jackson and Stephen are both in LOVE. They check on it in the mornings and directly after school and several times before bed. Jackson has always LOVED animals and after our dog Lilly got hit by a car he wanted something new. We told him we would get a fish, but never got around to it. I guess we will keep this cute little turtle and hope we can find another one soon. Stephen wants one for himself. Now if we can just settle on a name. Jackson named it Dr. Nubs, but has also called it about 7 different names since Pam and Farrell gave it to him.

Not me! Monday

I am joining MckMama for "not me" Monday!
Things I did not do this week!!!!

I did not order Jackson's Bday invites over the Internet because I was lazy and did not feel like making them. No not me. I always hand make the kids invites.
I did not send Jackson to school in shorts today when the high is 62. Oh know not me.
I did not waste an entire morning trying to weed through Stephens closet for too small clothes and summer clothes. Not ME! I am super organized in the kids rooms.
I did not pull out the baby bouncy seat for Stephen when he was pitching a fit for it.
I did not take a picture of Stephen laying in the baby bouncy seat after NOT getting it out after he pitched a fit. No not ME!! I never give in when he pitches a fit.
I DID NOT let Jackson watch a few minutes of TV in the bed last night. NOPE NOT ME!!!
Okay so there are my NOT ME moments that I am embarrassed I let happen.

Goldbrook Pumpkin Farm

I picked Jackson up from school this afternoon and thought it would be a normal afternoon of playing outside with the boys. Jackson was in the mood to do something else and begged to go to a pumpkin farm. I am a big sucker and its really really hard to say know to the two cute blonde boys in the back, especially when Jackson is giving me that really cute smile that makes his one and only dimple shine!! Oh how those boys melt my heart. It is a tradition to go to Burts every year. That was to far for today so we settled on Goldbrook which is on 52 right where the HUGE rocking chair is. Just some cute little houses on the hay ride!

Me and Stephen. Not really a good picture and he just learned where his forehead is and thinks its super cool to touch it at all times!!!

My sweet little Jackson and me. I took the picture and attempted to get Stephen in it, but I guess he did not want to be in it and started to take off.

Its blurry, but you get the point!! We had alot of fun. Jackson was a little disappointed that they did not have talking pumpkins, but he really did enjoy it.

Jackson looks scared. I don't know why?? He LOVES a good hay ride!!!

The famous chair. Several of my friends have taken their children here and taken their picture in it. Finally I have my kids picture with it!!!

Stephen was sooooo sweet picking out a pumpkin!!! Oh and he HAD to wear his cowboy boots. Papa would be proud!!

Jackson can't wait to go to Burts and get a big pumpkin to carve. We want to wait a little longer so it will not rot before Halloween.
I LOVE fall time and can't wait to decorate the house. Hopefully I can do that Monday. Pictures will surely follow!!

Something I am going to miss............

I never thought I would say this, but I am going to miss summer. I LOVE putting on the boys crocs and going out to the play yard. We have so much fun and I am going to miss my warm sunny days. Although it is sunny out it was still soooo cold this morning when we went out to play. Stephen had on overalls and a long sleeve t shirt and Matt was wearing pants, long sleeve t shirt and a little fleece hoodie. Their hands were ice cold and their noses were red. So I said its time to go in. It was so nice just going out to play and so we are here to say good bye to our shorts and crocs. It was nice knowing you summer!!!

These pictures were taken a few weeks ago, but are just now sharing!
