I don't like BATS!!!!!!!

The boys were playing outside one afternoon.  Jackson came to me and wanted me to look at something for him.  He kept saying he thought it was a bat.  I seriously thought he was trying to trick me, but after him being very persistent I went up to the play ground.  YEP definitely a bat.  Makes me hate living in the country more, but I think this could happen anywhere???

Our week

Saturday was test n tune day at the track.  Unfortunately it rained and got canceled after we were there for about 4 hours.

The boys had fun riding scooters, tricycles, playing football and getting to see a few old friends from last year. 

Stephen was going to try and take a nap after eating some pop corn, but did not ever fall asleep!

Monday we had lunch outside and of course played outside all day!

Our sweet dog Miley has been enjoying our nice weather.  We keep her in a pin and the boys get her out some.  She always runs to the road, but for some reason she has been really good to stay at the house.  So she has spent most of her time out with us!

Its been so hot and I make the boys drink tons of water.

Wednesday was spent in Gainesville and when we came home Stephen wanted a picture "with my best friend Miley"!!!

While waiting for Jackson and his 2 friends to get off the bus Stephen played Playhouse Disney.  This was his first time playing on the computer.  He eventually stopped playing and watch Chuggington on the computer!

Its Thursday and its raining and the power went off for about 2 seconds!  So we are spending our time inside for now.

Friday we are suppose to test Jackson's car, but its 80% chance of rain.  Saturday is an actual points race and its suppose to rain that day as well.  Hope the rain will give away before then!!

Sundays riding adventure!

Sunday was a great day! After a wonderful Church service and a delicious meal at Truett McConnell College we came home and did a little riding. Well the boys did.....not me!!! Bart had an AWESOME idea to make Jackson a motorcross track! Since he is in the bobcat business he got to work!! Most of the day Friday he worked out in the field and made some awesome jumps!!!

After the riding at our house the boys were ready to saddle it up!! Its been a while since they were able to ride so Nana and Papa were super excited to get the horses out!

This is Jackson's new horse. It does not have a good name? If you wanna help him name it just leave a comment! He traded Smokey for this horse!

This is Rocket! Jackson got this horse when he turned 2. Stephen did not ride it, but he really enjoyed leading him around!!


This is Smokey!! He was a horse Jackson got for Christmas and I believe he is now Stephens!

Friday Fun!!!

Making vroom vroom noises!! I think he has watched his daddy work way to much. This kid loves bobcats and dump trucks!! I guess Bart has raised him in hopes of Stephen working for the family business one day??

Stephen climbed on Jacksons bike!! His boot got stuck, but he had fun climbing!!

Opps this got misplaced!!!! But eventually he got the cat on the table. He also was able to poke the cats eyes and the cat nipped at his finger and scratched him. He really does love the cat. I promise!!

We are new pet owners!!!

Pam and Farrell found this cute little baby turtle while cutting grass. They saved it for Jackson and Jackson and Stephen are both in LOVE. They check on it in the mornings and directly after school and several times before bed. Jackson has always LOVED animals and after our dog Lilly got hit by a car he wanted something new. We told him we would get a fish, but never got around to it. I guess we will keep this cute little turtle and hope we can find another one soon. Stephen wants one for himself. Now if we can just settle on a name. Jackson named it Dr. Nubs, but has also called it about 7 different names since Pam and Farrell gave it to him.
