Theres a new cat in town!!!

Stephen just adores our black kitty and will try his hardest to hold the kitty. When he does run fast enough to catch the kitty or sneak up on it he will definitely take a turn in holding it. Sometimes the kitty gets held upside down while other times he holds it by its neck. He really does love the kitty. Well there is a new cat visiting our house occasionally and he is rather scared of this fat grey cat. The other day before nap he looked out for our kitty named Nemo and instead of waving or saying hi to Nemo he promptly laid down like this and would not get up. He would not even budge when I would try to turn him around. Stephen is terrified of Grandma and Grandpas cats. He runs and screams crying when he sees either of their cats. He can call our kitty by name and says it like Myno.

Valentines Day 2010

I LOVE valentines day!! We had an AMAZING church service!!! I know there are lots of people out there that love me, but my GOD loves me more than anyone could ever love me!! Isn't it amazing!! I love my kids and my husband more than ever, but GOD loves them more. I think that is just the most amazing thing ever!! I am so thankful for GODs amazing love!!!

Anyways I hope that everyone had a great VDay!! We enjoyed a nice Chinese lunch after church and then we came home for a small VDay treat.

He is not liking me taking his picture much these days!! This was like the 5th attempt to get a decent picture.

Its even harder for this one to look at me much less smile!! Trust me people he does smile and he is happy, just not in front of camera!!!

Snow day 2!

Saturday morning was much fun!! Nana and Papa came over to play with the boys!!! This is the snow ball fight!!!

Of course Stephen had to go up the big boy playground. So Jackson was a good big brother and went up to help him!!

They had lots of fun "trying" to sled. Eventually Jackson and papa just rode four wheelers and Nana and Stephen rode behind the 4wheeler in the sled. I don't think that was much fun either!!!

Friday.....Snow Day 1

The pictures got a little backwards. So this is around 5 pm. The big boy named Jackson had been begging to go outside. Matt followed and kept saying Matt go outside please??? So sweet!!! It was difficult getting these 3 little ones looking at me. I settled on posting this one. I actually got some good ones of all 3, but the snow was smack dab in the middle of either Jackson's face or Stephens. This is the best!!! Even if big bubba Jackson had to hold Stephen's face in the right direction!!!

Jackson thought it would be a great idea to go down the hill pulling Stephen. Stephen is fearless and I was at the bottom so I thought okay why not!!!

Whats for lunch??????

Homemade pizza!!!!!!! My boys love when I make homemade pizza. It had been a little while since I had done it so I thought it would be fun to do on a snow day. Jackson had school till noon and I new they were doing sack lunches. He's not crazy about the sack lunch at the school. Just a plain peanut butter sandwich. No Jelly. So the little boys helped me make it and eat it while doing so!! I think they had fun!!

This is Matt. Matt is my 2 yr old cousin that stays with us Wed, Thursday and Friday! Isn't he a doll!!!!

And this is my Jackson!! After the bus he enjoyed eating his pizza(that I snuck in cut up tomatoes and he said he LOVED it!!), playing on the webkinzs while the 2 little boys napped and going through all this valentines from school. We looked at them together and discussed his favorites and he enjoyed a sucker!!

Valentines 2010

Stephen 2 years and Jackson 7 years 4 months

Wednesday night we had our annual Valentines party. I love going each year and it was more fun this year than ever. We had 43 kids. Yes you read that right 43 kids. That is soooo awesome!!!!!

I don't know why Jackson is making a frowny face, but he is so darn cute that I have to take his picture whether he wants me to or not. And the little boy in the red shirt well his name is Caleb. He is Jackson's best friend of all time. Every picture I have of that Caleb at Church he has a piece of pizza in his mouth. TO funny!!! BTW Jackson was not in a bad mood I think he was just tired of me taking his picture!!!

We gave Misti, our Youth Director pictures of the kiddos and this is what she made!!! Isn't it AWESOME!!!!

Jackson was a great helper and passed out all of our bags and helps several other moms passing out their kids valentines!!!

All of the boys had a great time. Jackson, Holden, and Caleb enjoyed acting like horses for the smaller boys!! It was just an amazing night.

What has Jackson been up to lately????

Basketball!!! he really has been enjoying it and it tickles me to watch him play. He has had trouble in the fouling department. He really wants to steal the ball, but his lack of knowing how to play the game has kinda got him in trouble. He is a little to aggressive when "Stealing" the ball!! He has done great and I think he might even try another year of it!!

Today I am thankful for

BIBLE STUDY!!!!!!!!

I started a new bible study at the Torch in Cornelia!! Today was my second time and let me just tell you..........it is AWESOME!!!!! Just in 2 sessions I have already learned alot. I wanted to list a few reasons why I am thankful for the Bible Study. Me sharing might get some others interested in signing up for one.

I am thankful because:


I get to learn about GOD's precious word
I get to have some girl/me time
Stephen stays in the nursery so he gets to be around kids
I get to be around Bart's precious cousin Staci
I am meeting new ladies
I saw a girl I graduated with and hope to keep in touch
People are praying for me
I get to pray for others
I am BREAKING FREE!!!!
the study will help me be a better person
I am growing with GOD
I am constantly reminded of GODs love and the gift of salvation.


The bible study is by Beth Moore. I had never heard of Beth Moore till last Tuesday. God is so good to me and I know it is his will for me to be there. I am enjoying learning about the bible. May GOD bless you!!

Do you know the Mohawk boy????

Okay so there you have it!!! Stephen got a new ride on Saturday that sings Do you know the muffin man and I can't get it out of my head!!! Sunday while playing with one certain little feller I was TIRED of singing it and decided to make up my own words!!!

I will call my self thrifty!!

Jo Anna and I hit up 2 consignment sales Saturday. They were both half price most items so I got some great deals!! I spent $76 and I was a little upset about spending that much. After I got home and looked at everything and the quality of everything I was much relieved. I purchased an Eddie Bauer car seat for $12.50. I have been looking on Craigslist for one and the cheapest I found was $30 and that one in particular was extremely nasty and stained. I found one just like the one I bought last night for $75. I also purchased 2 ride on toys. 1 for outside and one for inside the house. Those 3 items mentioned above are not pictured!! Also not pictured are 4 BRAND new pairs of undies and 4 BRAND new pairs of boxers. Since they were brand new I grabbed them!!!! 1 ever so cute cookie monster shirt, 1 OshKosh dress shirt, 1 pair of Carters PJ's, 1 pair of Old Navy Short Talls, 1 pair of swim trunks, 1 Nike like brand new jacket, and 1 john deere shirt!!!

All named brand clothes the navy striped shirt is Ralph Lauren the light colored shirt is Children's Place, the navy is Old Navy and the light blue is JCPenny.

The first shirt on the Left has khaki shorts and a fishing hat to match. The outfit is from Gymboree, and the other 2 striped shirts are from Gap.

5 pairs of shoes, 1 crocs, 3 stride rites and 1 target!!

These are for Jackson, 1 chaps by Ralph Lauren and the other is from The Childrens Place.

1 New pair of Swim trunks and 2 t shirts. I think the soccer is from Walmart and the other is from JCpenny I think.

Simple Pleasures
